Biography

I have loved life sciences ever since I was a child, fascinated by the mechanisms that allow our world and its life to exist. After highschool, I naturally headed towards a bachelor’s degree in cellular biology and physiology at Université de Lille, France, with the objective of being part of the scientific research community. Those years reinforced my scientific ambitions. They also presented me with the opportunity to discover the world of omics and all the new possibilities computational biology enables. Therefore, I am now pursuing a master’s degree in cellular biology, physiology and data analysis at Sorbonne Université, Paris, France. This summer, I’m an intern at Landry Lab, and I am determined to pick up some of the amazing skills in bioinformatics and microbiology of its members.

Research interests

Now that I know that huge amounts and new types of data are accessible, I aim to learn to handle them with bioinformatics. I’m excited to work with Jessica Jann on her project, namely the effect of mutations in antifungal resistance.
